 The Company TOMEX produces brake blocks using the most up-to-date technologies and materials of superior quality. They are compatible with the systems ABS, TCS, EBD, ASC etc.
Disc brake blocks TOMEX can be used with any type of brake discs, and drum brake blocks are compatible with different drums.
The Company TOMEX represents:
- disc brake blocks for cars and delivery cars,
- drum brake blocks for cars and delivery cars;
- brake blocks components;
- wear sensor of brake blocks.
In the standard variant the Company offers brake blocks of the special structure against squeak which provides comfort of driving. Also brake blocks with anti vibration lining (SHIM) are available. They exclude micro vibration while braking.
Characteristic features of disc and drum brake blocks TOMEX:
- high efficiency of braking, supported on a constant level, on both cold and heated brakes;
- low noise level, providing comfort while braking; special paste against squeak applied to the supporting plate of the brake block or anti vibration lining (SHIM) also contributes to it;
- minimal wear of brake discs and drums during the whole period of operation;
- the goods do not contain harmful raw materials and so they are safe for the environment and for drivers;
- all disc and drum brake blocks TOMEX are produced in accordance with norms of the European Union.
Fully integrated strategy of production provides the opportunity of constant access to complementary details of disc and drum brake blocks such as supporting plates and accessories. In the range of accessories to brake blocks TOMEX offers springs, acoustic sensors, wear sensors etc. Drum brake blocks are fitted with standard accessories, i.e. control systems, levers etc.
Production of TOMEX has all necessary certificates and licenses. Each new device introduced into production is tested in the test center RDW Lelystad in
Holland and on the test track in
Warsaw .
TOMEX was created in 1978 and is one of biggest producers of brake blocks in
Poland . Every year the Company produces more than 4 million disc brake blocks for cars and delivery cars. Besides drum brake blocks for cars and delivery cars, accessories for disc and drum brake blocks and also wear sensors of brake blocks are offered by the Company.
The products of the Company are constantly controlled and tested for quality at all steps of the production process: beginning from the purchase of raw materials, used in production, continuing by the processes of mixing, punching and polishing and finishing by packing made products. TOMEX has invested several million of euro into up-to-date technologies to avoid mistakes while making each of 15 000 brake blocks leaving production assembly lines every day. Care for the quality of products is confirmed by the certificate ISO 9001, which TOMEX received in 1998 as the first private Company, producing brake blocks in
Poland .
The goods produced by TOMEX, have all necessary certificates and licenses. Due to the high quality and reliability of products, reasonable prices and also flexibility of approach to customers’ needs, the Company successfully compete in the Polish and foreign markets.
